Installation: - Download smartyDWT.zip from the URL above
- Unzip the file with your favorite compression utility (7-Zip is my choice since it falls under the GNU software licensing)
- Double click on the mxp file and the Dreamweaver extension manager should install the extension automatically.

One challenge that many web developers face is how to handle multiple file uploads. There is a currently a web browser limitation that only allows the user to select one image per html image tag. This makes for a bad user experience when they are faced with more than just a few images. It is possible to use other technologies than just standard html in order to get past this issue, but it will require some creative development on your part. If you would rather take the easy route, then visit the JUpload website, download the zip and give it a try. This application uses java applets and php.
How to Install: Download the jupload.zip from http://www.jupload.biz/ Unzip the files Place the unzipped folder in a web accessible directory Rename jupload.default.config to jupload.default.properties Point your browser to the jupload directory on your web server and give it a try. |
